MEAT CUTTER
- work daytime hours; off evenings + weekends + holidays
- training provided for this old-school craft
Prior experience is preferable but not required, and on-the-job training is provided. Candidates must have an eye for consistency and quality as well as the ability to work in a cold environment and so some heavy lifting.
Practice old-school, by-hand butchering skills as part of Smoking Goose’s Raw Proteins Team in our USDA-inspected meatery. This is not a slaughtering position. This butchering position involves cutting pork, poultry, beef, wild game, and more by hand using traditional seam butchery techniques. Again, training is provided.
This full-time, hourly position includes health insurance and retirement benefits.
