Help us welcome Josh to the Smoking Goose sales team! Which meat treat is his favorite? The City Ham or Jowl Bacon he fries up before cycling to work are contenders, but a national award winner claims the top slot.

Josh knows great food makes for a great party. Working as a chef in Indianapolis before joining the staff at our retail market, Josh used Smoking Goose meat treats to create dishes for the menu and special events at Goose the Market. Strangers gathered there at communal tables, but with Josh's spirit and his cooking, those strangers left as friends...full, happy friends.

Cooking, creating pairings, and engaging guests weren't just Josh's day job. Ask him about the themed Halloween and holiday parties that are a tradition with his family. And there's a new chair at the table for this year's shindigs. He and his wife Shannon are raising their son Maverick in excellent taste.

With so much experience serving and cooking with Smoking Goose meat treats, Josh has to think hard about his favorite. City Ham and Jowl Bacon are contenders, "But Culatello really stands out," he says about this 2019 Good Food Award winner. "The preparation and curing are unique and develop the flavors I love.”
